This technote delves into Cloud Authentication and the policies offered through the Aruba Central foundational subscription. It highlights a streamlined approach to authentication for both wired and wireless clients. However, the primary focus in this technote is on wired clients, with the objective of creating simple yet effective access policies using HPE Aruba Classic Central. Special attention is given to wired authentication through CX switches.

In this technote I’ll be demonstrating the same concept of colourless ports with CX switches, using Aruba Central’s Cloud Auth to provide user role-based policies for segmentation using Microsoft Entra ID and Aruba Central’s Client Profiling.
