Wi-Fi Mesh using 6GHz band with AOS10 APs

Aruba APs with AOS10 firmware can utilise Wi-Fi mesh technology to expand Wi-Fi coverage in both outdoor and indoor settings. In this short technote I’ll cover the following:

  • Dual band configuration for AP-605H and AP-615s to use 5GHz and 6GHz bands.
  • Mesh cluster using 6GHz band.
  • Wireless Client access over 6GHz mesh link
  • Using APIs to modify Wi-Fi mesh configuration

The topology that we’ll be deploying is as shown below.

      yes you can use almost any Aruba AP that supports AOS10.
